We collect the following types of information:

Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and, for students under 18, a parent or guardian's name and relationship to the student.

Class recordings: audio, video, and transcripts of classes, which may include your voice, image, and performance.

Payment information: processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full payment card details ourselves; Stripe handles card data directly.

Learning records: notes, feedback, and your individual learning history generated from your participation.

Website usage information: basic technical and usage data (such as device, browser, and pages visited) that may be collected automatically when you use our website, including through standard analytics tools.

We use your information to:

deliver classes and maintain your enrollment;

generate session notes, feedback, and your learning history;

develop and improve our curriculum and the learning experience;

process payments and manage your subscription;

communicate with you about your classes, account, and (with your consent) promotional updates;

share short clips or excerpts on our social media or promotional channels, subject to your opt-out (and, for minors, only with a parent or guardian's opt-in); and

operate, maintain, and protect Parissa Legacy.

We use AI tools to transcribe class recordings, generate session notes and feedback, and maintain your learning history. We may use trusted third-party AI providers to process this content on our behalf. These providers act as our service providers and are not permitted to sell your data or use it for their own purposes. We do not use voice recognition or biometric identification to identify you by your voice, and we do not perform automated analysis of your vocal technique or performance.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for unrelated purposes. We share information only as follows:

Service providers: with vendors who process data on our behalf to operate the service (for example, payment processing through Stripe, cloud and email services, and AI transcription/processing providers), under terms that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.

Social media and promotional channels: short clips or excerpts of class content, subject to the consent and opt-out terms described in our Class Consent & Enrollment Agreement.

Legal requirements: where we are required to do so by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We retain your recordings and learning records while your subscription is active and for one year after your subscription ends or is cancelled, after which they are deleted. We may retain certain limited records (such as transaction records) for longer where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

You have the following choices regarding your information:

Promotional communications: you may opt out of promotional messages at any time by emailing admin@parissalegacy.org or updating your student profile. You will still receive service messages necessary to your enrollment.

Social media / likeness use: you may opt out (or, for minors, decline to opt in) at any time through your student profile or by email, as described in the Class Consent & Enrollment Agreement.

Access, correction, and deletion: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing admin@parissalegacy.org, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

California residents may have additional rights under applicable California privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@parissalegacy.org.

Our website uses Google Analytics (measurement ID configured in site settings) and similar technologies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or sell it to advertisers.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including using established service providers such as Stripe for payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Students under 18 may enroll only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts our terms on the student's behalf. Social media and promotional use of a minor's name, voice, image, or likeness is off by default and occurs only if a parent or guardian expressly opts in. If you believe we have collected information from a minor without appropriate consent, please contact us at admin@parissalegacy.org.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
